Nothing comes up without opposition. Myths are like this. And, we do get misled by them. Similarly, there are myths about real estate too. So this article is just to make you aware how they make no sense:
- Cash Buyers are Always Prioritized:
Well, this is a lie and makes no sense. Sellers do like the simple method of accepting money where they don’t have to go anywhere to make them ‘notes’. But this is now a world of e-payments. So there is no worry about the payment method if you are thinking of card payment or app-payment.
- House-Inspection is Not a Matter of Concern:
Especially if you are all new to this world, you may just rely on your agent for everything and never think of having the home checked on your own. The seller will obviously not be all true with his home. That’s why you should have the “reality” check of the Real estate. Also, it can be a way of lowering the final price with showing this and that problem with the house. Try to uncover as much as you can.
- You Can Have More Profits If You Don’t Have An Agent:
The thing you should know is, there are two-sided agents; both from the buyer and the seller’s side. The commission amount is built on the main prize. If you are a buyer and you don’t have an agent, you will profit nothing. The entire commission amount will go to the seller’s agent.
- The Real Estate Market Only Goes Up:
It is true that the indicators show all tendencies to reach higher but you cannot always expect this. In recent times, both sellers and buyers have experienced a period of increasing values and then a decline in the economic downturn and then another period of increasing value. Despite the economic development around the world, the real estate market can fall too. So if you are a buyer, you should wait for the fall and if you are a seller, obviously you will do the opposite!
There are a lot more myths like these that you shouldn’t believe. So if you are planning to buy or sell a Real estate deal, Papachristou immobiliers strictly forbid you to get deviated by these things. They are man-made pointless ‘tales’. Never believe them. We hope we have ‘warned’ you enough!
